Short Sleeve Tees

Here are some pictures of the short sleeve tees.  The white tee has a hand crochet flower along with fancy fringe at both the sleeve and bottom edge of the 100% baby rib cotton.  Tees are available in white, pink, lavender, brown, and black.  The black tee has a fabric swirl applique, and of course fancy fringe!  Applique shapes- heart, star, flower, swirl and the guitar.   The pictures just don’t show off how great these tees look.

swirly girl…. I just love the new swirl design.  This shape is cut from a beautiful batik fabric that picks up the lime accent yarn and the purple hints along the bottom fringe.

I loved the color scheme so much I made a size 2T sample along with the custom order tanks.  My client’s 10 year old daughter requested the color lime and the swirl pattern for these tank tops.

Tah Dah! behave brand apparel tanks are here.

Here is a picture of the completed behave brand apparel tank tops.  Pink, cream (from American Apparel’s organic line), and white tanks.  I’ve added a new design to the existing applique shapes of: star, heart, and flower – the swirl.  Thanks to Amelia for the great idea, I think the swirl looks fabulous!  Below is a closeup of the behave label – it’s small (1/2″ x 1 1/2″).

The labels are on the back of the shirts, just a subtle brand reference.   I didn’t want anything to distract from the overall look of the shirts.

 

launch postponed until July 9th

I’ve had to postpone the launch of behave brand apparel to local shops until Monday, July 9th.  I’m still recovering from wrist surgery.  I thought Monday, July 9th would be a great launch date – it’s my birthday!!  I’m finishing up my custom order and affixing the behave labels to my working samples.  I’ll post pictures of all the tanks and a close up of the labels on Thursday.  They are so cute! 

After much deliberation they will be going on the back of the shirts, at the bottom by the fringe.  The labels were custom made from a fellow etsyer.

indie sites I love to visit

I thought I might point out a few of my favorite indie websites.  The links are all listed on the right.  Check them out, I continually add more.  But first…..What is indie?

sneek peek

I thought I’d post some pictures of my short sleeve tee sample.  This is one I made for my daughter E.  I’ll be using American Apparel tees – choose from white, pink, blue, or lavender.  behave brand apparel official launch is July 2nd, 2007.

These tees are machine washable and line dry.  The turquoise yarn on this one just gets better after it’s been washed. 

Here is a closeup of the heart applique.  I’ve been thinking about the appliques…….heart, star, swirl, flower.  Any other suggestions?  Leave me a comment – tell me what you’d like to see.
